To commemorate the 75th anniversary of V.E. Day, this new short film using little-seen WW2 archive footage from London’s Screen Archives and produced by Digital Drama and supported with a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Working across the London boroughs of Camden, Ealing, Hounslow, Kington, Croydon and Merton the producers at Digital Drama ran reminiscence and recording workshops. The audio recordings captured during these workshops feature as the main sound of a series of short films. London Screen Archives supplied the rarely seen archive film which was restored by R3Store Studio. The film’s soundtrack was mixed and dubbed by dubbing mixer Luke Williams at Onedub.
